On the way we stopped at Kakatahi School on the Parapara Highway and we found.....
MORE FUNGUS!!!!
This one is a Bird's Nest Fungus and it is a NZ native.
After we took these photos we went in the playground and we had a bit of a play with some cricket bats and a ball.
By the way, when we were looking for the name of our new fungus photos we found the name for one of last terms photos...it's the Turkey-tail Porebracket!
We found it on this great site with lots of other different plants, animals and fungi http://www.terrain.net.nz/friends-of-te-henui-group/fungi-te-henui/turkey-tail-porebracket-trametes-versicolor.html
