Welcome to Term 1 in 2015
We've got a full schedule this term.....on Monday mornings we go into Tawhero School who has a community room. We do all sorts of things from working on the Chromebooks to artwork to baking.
This week we baked a cake and did some leaf rubbings......hopefully we can get you some piccys!
On Wednesday morning, we go into the pottery studio....
Thursdays is a big activity day with the Wanganui homeschoolers. In the morning we go swimming and then we have a picnic for lunch and then it's Gym time at the Wanganui Boys and Girls Gym!
Chemistry class!!!
In February we had a great time in a Chemistry class that was organized by the Wanganui Homeschool Network. The teacher was Nathalie Thomas from KeriKeri. I think we'll be getting a molecule set....

Safety in the home: Grease fires
It's the first week of March and today we learnt about what to do when there is a fire on the stove. Here's a short video showing us why we should NEVER put water on a grease fire...
